Seminarians visited with members of the Serra Club of Des Moines on Aug. 14 before going to a statewide convocation. The seminarians visited with the Serra Club of Council Bluffs on Aug. 16.

Seminarian Trevor Chicoine, of Immaculate Conception Parish in St. Marys, Iowa, will be a freshman at Loras College in Dubuque. He was recently accepted into the diocesan seminarian program.

Each year the Iowa Knights of Columbus collect funds for a perpetual memorial society in which they enroll Knights and others who have died. The Knights invest the funds with their supreme council and annually divide the the interest among the four Iowa dioceses.
