Bishop Richard Pates joined the young golfers and diocesan priests at Legacy golf course in Norwalk during the Fairway Fathers event June 15. The purpose is to give young men interested in a vocation to the priesthood an opportunity to talk with diocesan priests.

Msgr. Frank Bognanno, pastor of Christ the King Parish on Des Moines' south side, spent a day on the golf course with young men interested in the priesthood. The event, Fairway Fathers, was held June 15 at Legacy golf course in Norwalk.
